LOUISE SLAUGHTER INVESTERGATION INTO FAILED BODY ARMOR ON THE BUSH/CHENEY WATCH

As I watched the Keith Oldberman show last night I found it very informing of more hidden secrets of this Bush/Cheney administration. Knowing how many lies there were during the Bush Presidency.

They believed in torture and used many other tactics of unauthorized methods to gain their fame of greed in wars and our economics. Enlisted the most powerful in corporation as HALLIBURTON, LEADER IN UNCONVENTIONAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT IN NORTH AMERICA, and COMPLETES FIRST HORIZONTAL SHALE GAS WELL IN ARGENTINA AND SOUTH AMERICA FOR APACHE. Just an example of wealth and how they rise to power and yes Vice President Cheney was CEO of this massive corporation hmm.

So now we have our soldiers in Afghanistan fighting a war that our President Bush would have all Americans believe it was over Osama Bin Laden and September 9, 2011.

Knowing the body armor that was being tested for these fine men/women were wearing weren’t safe at all. In fact congress women Louise Slaughter started asking many questions into this when became too close to finding out the truth of how unsafe this body armor was she was told to keep quiet and stay out of it. That it wasn’t part of her business.

But as a strong leader as she is her persistence continued to move on with this since it was our soldiers’ lives in danger with this defected body armor they were using.

I will now show you a report that is most import to this article that if not for congress women Louise Slaughter this wouldn’t have come out in the open and more deception from the Bush/Cheney Administration of corruption that had been going on the whole time of their eight years in the peoples White House.

Inspector General Reports Army Improperly Tested Body Armor Following Congresswoman Louise Slaughter Inquiry Regarding Concerns

The Aug. 1 report was the fourth in a series by the inspector general in response to Rep. Louise Slaughter. Since January 2006, the New York Democrat has pressed the military about the effectiveness of body armor after The New York Times reported that 80 percent of Marines serving in Iraq who had been shot in the upper body had died because of inadequate body armor.

A report (PDF) from the Department of Defense’s Inspector General Details flawed quality assurance inspections of the body armor used by troops to stop bullets. The investigation, which was requested by Congress, looked at seven Army contracts worth $2.5 billion and awarded between 2004 and 2006.

What it found is that in some cases, the Army skipped some tests altogether, while in others it used inconsistent methodology. The report points out for example that The Army Program Manager Soldier Equipment (PM SEQ) “did not always use the correct size ballistic insert” or “use a consistent methodology for measuring the proper velocity, or enforce the humidity and temperature requirements.”

In other cases, in order to expedite delivery, the PM SEQ skipped “the weathered and altitude” tests.

The bottom line, says the Inspector General, is the “the Army lacks assurance that 5.1 million ballistic inserts acquired through the seven contracts provide appropriate protection.”

The report says, however, that investigators did not conduct their own tests so, “we could not conclude whether the deviations affected ballistic performance.”

The AP reports the Army responded, yesterday, by saying it had begun improving the testing system.

You decide what is right wrong with this Administration of the Republican Party how they have lied to the American people many times in present and past. And now with an election coming up in 14months with all this rhetoric of ideology of insanity in our atmosphere with fear tactics disguising their voices with words of religion but you won’t find their words in any Bible or pray book or in the ten commandments. Do we want another administration of lies that will lie to all of the American people?
